Head Audit & Assurance

As the Head of Audit and Assurance in our Bank, your role is crucial in leading the Audit department and managing the Audit and Risk functions effectively. With over 10 years of experience, you will be responsible for ensuring that all bank operations adhere to laws, regulations, internal policies, and accounting standards. Your key responsibilities include: - Acting as the primary contact for regulatory agencies like RBI in audit-related matters. - Developing and implementing Risk and Control Matrices (RCMs) aligned with the bank's strategy. - Leading and managing the audit team to conduct efficient audits. - Conducting risk assessments across all business verticals. - Providing guidance and conducting training programs for staff on audit and risk matters. - Reviewing and approving audit reports, ensuring accuracy and providing improvement recommendations. - Communicating audit findings to management and overseeing corrective actions. - Offering technical assistance for investigations and special audits. - Establishing strong relationships with stakeholders and supporting the implementation of Risk Management Policy. Your qualifications should include being a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with additional qualifications in Internal Audit or Risk Management. A minimum of 3 years" experience in the BFSI sector is required, along with knowledge of risk management practices and banking regulatory requirements.
