Job Description :

The Head of Accounts & Taxation will be responsible for overseeing the companys

entire Accounts, Finance, and Taxation functions. This role requires strong

leadership, in-depth knowledge of tax laws, and the ability to implement efficient

financial practices aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage the Accounts & Taxation team ensuring accuracy,

compliance, and timeliness.

• Oversee accounting operations including finalization of accounts, MIS

reporting, and statutory compliance.

• Ensure compliance with all Direct and Indirect tax laws, including Income

Tax, GST, TDS, and other applicable regulations.

• Handle tax assessments, audits, and liaise with regulatory authorities.
• Formulate tax-efficient strategies while ensuring full compliance.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure proper internal controls and compliance with accounting standards.
• Support management with financial analysis, decision-making, and strategic

planning.

• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and external

consultants.

• Drive automation and process improvement initiatives within accounts and

taxation functions.

Key Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, Direct & Indirect Taxation

(Income Tax, GST, TDS, etc.)

• Expertise in tax planning, assessments, and regulatory compliance
• Proven experience in finalization of accounts, MIS, and audits
• Leadership & team management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and MS Excel
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
