Job Description

Head Accounts

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the
Accounts Department
(10 to 15 team members) with complete ownership of all financial data and transactions.
Oversee
accounting operations across multiple manufacturing plants
, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
Regularly monitor and reconcile
payables, receivables, and bank accounts
.
Report directly to the
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
with timely financial updates and performance metrics.
Implement and optimize
SAP
systems for process automation and data accuracy.
Prepare and present
financial statements, MIS reports, budgets, and forecasts
for senior management.
Ensure
statutory compliance
with GST, Income Tax, and Cost Records.
Coordinate with
external auditors
and handle all audit requirements efficiently.
Establish and strengthen
internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures
.
Provide financial insights to support business decisions and cost optimization initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

CA Qualified
with
1525 years of post-qualification experience
in Accounting and Finance.
Must be from the
manufacturing industry
—
preferably auto components
or metal processing.
Hands-on experience with
SAP
and other accounting systems.
Strong leadership skills with prior experience in managing teams of 10–15 people.
Proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multi-plant operations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
