JOB SUMMARY

The Manager, HCM Solutions is responsible for managing and optimizing Workday HCM with a primary focus on Talent Acquisition (Recruiting and Onboarding) systems, while maintaining familiarity with core HR modules and Compensation. This role ensures a seamless candidate, recruiter, and hiring manager experience, while supporting compliance, system integrity, and data accuracy across all HR processes.

The Manager will lead a team of analysts, oversee Workday configuration, enhancements, testing, and support for TA and other HCM modules, and maintain the TA Technology Roadmap, integrations, vendor contracts, and system lifecycle.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the system owner and subject matter expert for Workday Recruiting and Onboarding, including knowledge of Position Management and its impact on TA workflows.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, and hiring managers to translate business needs into system configuration, workflows, and reporting.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of TA systems analysts and/or administrators.
  • Oversee Workday Recruiting and Onboarding configuration, testing, and deployment, ensuring alignment with compliance and recruiting best practices.
  • Lead TA systems initiatives, including new integrations (e.g., background checks, candidate communication tools, assessments, CRM), upgrades, and optimization projects.
  • Monitor and implement Workday Recruiting and Onboarding feature releases to continuously improve functionality and candidate/hiring manager experience.
  • Ensure TA systems integrate effectively with HR, payroll, and third-party vendor solutions.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, training materials, and communications to support recruiters, hiring managers, and HR users.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for Workday Recruiting and Onboarding issues, troubleshooting problems and identifying solutions.
  • Use data and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting processes and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Contribute to the TA Technology Roadmap, ensuring alignment with broader HR Technology and business strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience with HR or recruiting technology; at least 2+ years hands-on Workday Recruiting and/or Onboarding configuration required.
  • Proven success implementing, enhancing, or supporting Workday Recruiting and Onboarding.
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition processes and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with vendor management and TA-related integrations (e.g., background check, job boards, CRM, assessment tools).
  • Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to partner effectively across HR, TA, and IT stakeholders.
  • Prior people management or mentoring experience preferred.
