HCC Experienced Medical Coders

As a Medical Coder / Senior Medical Coder in Coimbatore, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare industry by ensuring accurate and revenue-generating clinical coding work. Your responsibilities will include: - Experience in HCC record abstraction and coding required - Demonstrating a high level of quality in clinical coding work by identifying and validating HCC mapped diagnoses that contribute to revenue generation - Adhering to official coding guidelines, coding clinic determinations, client-specific coding guidelines, CMS, and other regulatory compliance guidelines and mandates - Validating medical record coding procedures and guidelines for accuracy - Maintaining an accuracy rate of 95% or above while consistently meeting productivity targets - Utilizing excellent written and verbal communication skills for coaching and interpersonal interactions - Demonstrating strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology - Applying skills in organization, time management, and customer service to efficiently carry out coding tasks - Reading and interpreting medical record documentation to extract accurate diagnoses - Employing analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and rectify coding and documentation errors - Upholding all HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements - Identifying trends in coding and documentation errors for continuous improvement Your qualifications for this role include: - Minimum graduate in any stream - CPC/CRC Certification preferred - 2-6 years of medical coding experience with at least 1 year of mandatory experience in HCC Mapped Diagnosis Coding - Willingness to work in afternoon shifts and rotational shifts as needed Additionally, your clinical background would be beneficial, although not mandatory.
