Job Description

As a Desktop Support Technician, your role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals. You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues both onsite and through remote support. Additionally, you will configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, CCTV, and IP intercoms. Having a basic knowledge of networking protocols is essential for this position. Your key responsibilities include: - Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals. - Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues onsite and through remote support. - Configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, CCTV, and IP intercoms. - Monitoring LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks to ensure uptime and performance. - Implementing and maintaining network security policies and procedures. - Providing on-site and remote user support for hardware and network-related issues. - Coordinating with vendors and service providers for support. Qualifications required: - Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role. - Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) are a plus. This is a full-time position that requires you to work in person at the designated work location.,
