Hardware Engineer - Power Electronics

As a part of Ecofrost Pune, you will be responsible for handling the complete product design life cycle. This includes coordinating with cross-functional teams to support ongoing design tasks and projects. You will be involved in designing AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC based topologies and testing/benchmarking the design against the standards. Additionally, you will prepare technical documents such as specification documents, design documents, test case & test plan documents, etc. Your role will also involve coordinating cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis to achieve timely and robust issue resolution. Key Responsibilities: - Handle complete product design life cycle - Coordinate with cross-functional teams for design tasks and projects - Design AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC based topologies and test against standards - Prepare technical documents such as specifications, design documents, test cases, and plans - Drive root cause analysis for issue resolution Qualifications Required: - Strong fundamentals in digital, analog, and power electronics hardware design - Knowledge of converter/inverter topologies (AC-DC, DC-DC, motor controls) - Excellent hardware debugging and troubleshooting skills - Experience with schematic design, PCB layout, BOM creation, testing, and validation - Hands-on experience with PCB development tools like Altium, Orcad, Eagle Zuken, etc - Knowledge of communication protocols like UART, I2C, SPI, USB, MODBUS, CAN, etc - Proficiency in documentation and writing - Understanding of EMI, EMC, and IEC product standards - Leadership and guidance for subordinates At Ecozen, we are a technology company focused on building a smart and sustainable future through innovative solutions.
