Job Description :

The Hardware & Networking Support professional provides technical assistance for:

• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, servers, routers, switches, etc.).
• Network setup and troubleshooting (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
• Diagnosing and fixing system and network issues for end users.
• Ensuring system security and smooth connectivity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Hardware Support
  • Assemble, install, and configure desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Diagnose and repair hardware malfunctions.
  • Manage upgrades and replacements of parts.
• Networking Support
  • Set up and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
  • Troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues, connectivity problems, and slow network performance.
  • Manage IP configurations, DHCP, DNS, and VPN setups.
• User Support
  • Provide first-level technical support to employees.
  • Troubleshoot OS, software, and hardware issues.
  • Train users on basic troubleshooting and best practices.
• Maintenance & Monitoring
  • Regular system health checks and updates.
  • Backup and recovery processes.
  • Ensure antivirus, firewalls, and security measures are active.

Required Skills :

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, OS (Windows/Linux), and peripherals.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
• Experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Good communication to assist non-technical staff.
