Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Purchase Manager based in Guntur to manage procurement of Guntur red chillies for export. The ideal candidate should have strong connections with local chilli farmers, traders, and commission agents, and possess in-depth knowledge of chilli quality, grading, pricing, and procurement practices.

Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase high-quality Guntur chillies at competitive rates
• Maintain relationships with farmers, agents, and suppliers
• Evaluate chilli quality and ensure compliance with export standards
• Monitor daily market arrivals, mandi prices, and trend analysis
• Coordinate with the export and logistics team for timely dispatch
• Maintain purchase records and reports

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in chilli procurement or agri-commodity buying
• Deep knowledge of Guntur chilli varieties and market dynamics
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Should be based in Guntur
• Education: Any degree in agriculture, supply chain, or related field preferred

Salary: Competitive, based on experience
