Job Title: Sr. Solution Engineer Guidewire

About the Role

Sr. Solution Engineer Guidewire

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the

  design, development, and implementation

  of Guidewire solutions (PolicyCenter / BillingCenter / ClaimCenter).
• Translate

  business requirements

  into scalable and maintainable Guidewire configurations and integrations.
• Develop and review

  GOSU/Java code, plugins, batch processes, rules, product models, and messaging frameworks

  .
• Work with architects to design

  end-to-end Guidewire solution architecture

  including integrations with external systems.
• Ensure adherence to

  Guidewire best practices, coding standards, and performance guidelines

  .
• Drive

  code reviews, solution validation, and technical quality assurance

  .
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in Guidewire applications.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership.
• Collaborate with

  Agile/Scrum teams

  , participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to

  CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and cloud migration strategies

  for Guidewire applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT experience

  with at least 8

  + years of hands-on Guidewire Insurance Suite experience

  (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
• Expertise in

  Guidewire Configuration and Integration

  using

  GOSU, Java, SOAP/REST APIs, Messaging, Product Model, Workflows

  .
• Experience with

  Guidewire Cloud, GW 10+ versions, and Digital Portal

  is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of

  P&C insurance domain

  processes (underwriting, policy, billing, claims).
• Proficiency with

  SQL, XML, Git, Jenkins, Maven, IntelliJ, Jira, Confluence

  .
• Exposure to

  Application Performance Monitoring (New Relic, Datadog, Splunk, Kibana)

  is a plus.
• Solid understanding of

  Agile methodology, CI/CD, and DevOps practices

  .
• Strong

  analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management

  skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Certifications

• Guidewire Certified Specialist/Professional

  (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, Integration).

• Cloud Certifications

  (AWS, Azure) preferred.
• Agile/Scrum certification (nice to have).
