Job Description

Key responsibilities

  • Guest reception and assistance:
  • Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Review arrival lists and assist with check-in and check-out processes.
  • Help prepare welcome folders and provide information on hotel amenities and local attractions.
  • Guest needs and issue resolution:
  • Serve as a liaison between guests and staff to address inquiries and requests.
  • Handle guest complaints courteously and efficiently, escalating issues to a manager when necessary.
  • Anticipate guest needs and build rapport to enhance their experience.
  • Assist with special requests, such as travel arrangements or special event arrangements.
  • Coordination and administration:
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain and update guest records and logbooks.
  • Handle front desk operations and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Ensuring quality standards:
  • Promote the hotel's services and ensure a positive and supportive environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and quality standards.
  • Collect guest feedback to help improve services.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Interpersonal skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for interacting with a diverse range of guests.
  • Customer service: A customer-oriented and professional attitude is essential for building rapport and handling issues.
  • Organizational skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills are needed to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proactiveness: The ability to anticipate guest needs and take initiative is highly valued.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management is often preferred, but strong interpersonal skills and customer-centricity are often more important than formal education alone.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a customer service, hospitality, or front-office role is beneficial.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of additional languages is a significant asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹29,884.95 per month
