Job Description

Quality Drafting and Negotiation (in line with business objectives)
Co-ordination with internal as well as external stakeholders and ensuring closure as per business requirements
Accessibility and advising the internal stakeholders in relation to their business requirements as well as managing external stakeholders (including JVs, subsidiaries).
Advising, Coordination with internal stakeholders and ensuring compliance of applicable laws as per prescribed timelines
Co-ordination with internal as well as external stakeholders in relation to litigation matters
Strategizing and effectively coordination with counsels in a time bound manner
Advising and mentoring the team.
Monitoring the performance of team and periodically reviewing their performance and including critically appraising the team and motivating them to achieve set objectives

Relevant Skills:-

Most recent experience as Lead/Head in Legal Department with experience in TV/Radio/Media/Music Industry
Excellent communication and articulation skills and experience of having worked independently with CLO/CXO's/Management
Good drafting and presentation skills
Person of high integrity with experience of running statutory and ethical compliance program
Tech-savvy, ability to use digital tools for with ease, ability to implement digital alternatives to simplify ways of working
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, set and meet timelines
Ability to build and manage relationships and inspire the trust of stakeholders
