Siemens Energy India Limited is seeking a responsible, professional, and self-motivated individual to join the Gas Turbine R&D, Gurgaon as a GT Test Instrumentation Mechanical Design and Product Definer.This position provides an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, global product development environment.
The Test instrumentation design engineer is responsible for the design and product definition of test instrumentation for gas turbine components using NX & Teamcenter.The engineer should be able to understand the functional, assembly and manufacturing requirements and develop innovative & appropriate solutions to meet the design requirements.
The job involves creating 3D models, detailing, EBOM and checking drawings. A strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, gas turbine testing probes, and manufacturing processes is essential.
The role requires collaboration within the team and with cross-functional teams. The position also requires regular interaction with global teams in the USA, Germany, and Sweden. Therefore, the engineer should possess strong communication skills and cross-cultural knowledge.
This role is based at Site (Gurgaon). Youll also get to visit other locations in India and beyond, so youll need to go where this journey takes you. In return, youll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities, countries and the shape of things to come.
