GStreamer - FFMPEG - Codec Developer Audio or Video

You will be working on open source multimedia frameworks like GStreamer and FFmpeg. Your main responsibilities will include: - Developing, optimizing, and integrating various audio/video codecs such as aac, opus, vorbis, h264, h265, mpeg4, mpeg2, etc., and custom build system development. - Customizing and building new plugins for GStreamer and FFmpeg. - Investigating and integrating third-party libraries. - Providing guidance and expertise in multimedia-related work. - Investigating and prototyping new requirements in Multimedia. - Directly communicating with clients for their requirements and queries. - Conducting interviews. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. - Proficiency in C, pointers manipulation, multithreading, and synchronization. - Strong development skills on Linux. - Hands-on experience with the internals of FFmpeg, GStreamer, and VLC. - Understanding of audio/video codecs. - Good experience with build systems such as Makefile, Cmake, and GNU autotools. - Expertise in debugging tools like gdb, valgrind, etc. - Strong in algorithmic and problem-solving skills. - Experience in assembly programming like SSE, MMX, ARM, NEON is a plus. - Understanding of Linux system-level programming is a plus.
