Store Manager Job Roles and Resonsibility:
A Store Manager, is responsible for the overall daily operations of the shop, ensuring efficiency and profitability. Their primary duties include hiring, firing and management of staff. • Oversee receiving and distribution operations
• Ensuring on time closing of purchase orders
• Arranging stocks in FIFO and accessible manner
• Maintaining store performance metrics in line with prescribed targets and thresholds
• Tracking the sales and stock planning
• Maintaining availability across all the buckets
• Wastage and quality control of perishables and non perishables
• Removing the expired items
• Tracking the IID and conveying that to the purchase team
• Inspecting inventory for damage and faults
• Ensuring efficient utilization of man power by appropriate roaster and shift planning of staff
• Hire and train new employees
• Handled around 70-80 executives for smooth flow of the work
• Weekly and monthly stock auditing
• Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
• Maintain systems to control pilferage/theft/fraud and ensure adherence to the same
