Job Description

Job Title: Grinding Operating Engineer

Location:

Job Purpose:

To operate grinding machines and ensure precision machining of components as per specifications, while maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate
cylindrical, surface, and internal grinding machines
to manufacture precision components.
Interpret
engineering drawings, job orders, and machining specifications
to determine grinding requirements.
Set up, adjust, and maintain grinding machines for optimal performance and accuracy.
Inspect machined components using
micrometers, vernier calipers, gauges
, and other measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Perform routine
machine maintenance
, identify issues, and support troubleshooting activities.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, strictly following all
safety protocols and operational guidelines
.

Skills & Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma in
Mechanical
,
Fitter
, or a relevant trade.
1 - 3 years
of hands-on experience in
ID/OD/Surface grinding operations
.
Sound knowledge of
machine maintenance
, basic repairs, and troubleshooting.
Ability to
read and interpret technical drawings
and follow machining instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality output.
