Job Title: Quality Inspector Department: Production / Quality Job Description: The Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting thorough inspections of products on the production line to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications. This role ensures accuracy, adherence to SOPs, and proper documentation to support smooth production operations. Key Responsibilities: Perform visual inspection of products to identify defects, irregularities, or deviations from specifications. Approve setting parameters before production begins. Prepare and maintain line inspection reports . Handle rejection clearance and record details at the end of every shift. Read and update log notes for every shift. Verify availability and functionality of SOPs & gauges for all machines. Check and update PMC (Process Monitoring Chart) & PTC (Process Tracking Chart) . Assign identification tags for all trays and bins in the inspection area. Ensure 5S standards are maintained within the inspection zone. Key Requirements: Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field. Experience: 0 - 1 year of experience in a quality inspection role (preferably in manufacturing). Skills & Knowledge: Familiarity with quality tools , inspection processes, and measuring instruments. Basic understanding of manufacturing workflow and quality documentation. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects accurately. Good communication and reporting skills.
Job Title: Grinding Operating Engineer Location: Chennai Ambattur Job Purpose: To operate grinding machines and ensure precision machining of components as per specifications, while maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and safety. Key Responsibilities: Operate cylindrical, surface, and internal grinding machines to manufacture precision components. Interpret engineering drawings, job orders, and machining specifications to determine grinding requirements. Set up, adjust, and maintain grinding machines for optimal performance and accuracy. Inspect machined components using micrometers, vernier calipers, gauges , and other measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy. Perform routine machine maintenance , identify issues, and support troubleshooting activities. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, strictly following all safety protocols and operational guidelines . Skills & Qualifications: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical , Fitter , or a relevant trade. 1 - 3 years of hands-on experience in ID/OD/Surface grinding operations . Sound knowledge of machine maintenance , basic repairs, and troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and follow machining instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality output.
