Job Description – Senior Video Editor (Construction & Architecture) Position: Senior Video Editor Department: Marketing Location: Cochin, Kerala (On-Site/Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time --- About Vedha Architects Group Vedha Architects Group is a design and execution firm specializing in showroom, office, resort, and residential projects. We are looking for a creative and technically strong Video Editor who can bring our projects to life through engaging and impactful video storytelling. --- Role Overview We need a highly skilled Video Editor with experience in construction, architecture, or real estate content. The role requires someone who can work with raw site footage, drone visuals, 3D renders, and client interviews, and turn them into professional, compelling videos for brand communication. --- Key Responsibilities Edit and produce high-quality project showcase videos, walkthroughs, and promotional content. Work with architects and the marketing team to design storyboards, scripts, and visual narratives. Edit construction site progress, before/after transformations, drone shots, and client testimonials. Add motion graphics, infographics, subtitles, and text overlays to simplify complex design and construction ideas. Ensure color grading, sound design, and visual consistency across all outputs. Optimize videos for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) and presentations. --- Required Skillsets Strong portfolio of video editing work in construction/real estate/architecture. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro (any two minimum). Expertise in motion graphics, transitions, and typography in video. Knowledge of sound design, color grading, and video compression for web. Ability to handle drone footage, time-lapse edits, and walkthroughs. Bonus: Experience integrating 3D render animations (Lumion, Blender, Enscape, 3ds Max). Strong storytelling sense – ability to convert technical work into engaging visual stories.
