Role Overview:

As a Graphic Designer at Gloocal Communications, you will be responsible for creating visually engaging brand communication assets across various digital platforms and marketing campaigns. You will work independently, from the initial creative concept to the final execution, ensuring that your designs align with brand guidelines and client expectations. Your exceptional skills in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other design software will be crucial in producing high-quality visuals that resonate with target audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Asset Development:
  • Design and create brand communication assets for social media, websites, email marketing, and other digital platforms.
  • Develop visuals for marketing campaigns, including banners, posters, infographics, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure all designs meet brand guidelines and effectively communicate the intended message.
Conceptualization Execution:
  • Work independently on projects, managing the entire design process from concept to completion after receiving a brief.
  • Generate innovative design ideas and contribute actively to creative brainstorming sessions.
  • Deliver high-quality designs on time, meeting both internal and client deadlines.
Software Proficiency:
  • Utilize Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe InDesign to create professional designs.
  • Apply your knowledge of typography, photo manipulation, and mixed media to produce visually appealing content.
  • Leverage Corel Draw for KLDs (Keyline Drawings), ensuring precision and attention to detail in your designs.
  • (Optional but advantageous) Use Adobe Premiere and After Effects to create engaging video content and animations.
Research Innovation:
  • Conduct research to stay updated on design trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Explore new techniques and ideas to continuously improve the quality of your work.
  • Apply photo manipulation and mixed media techniques to enhance the creative output.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a digital marketing or PR agency setting.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Corel Draw is required.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout design, and visual communication principles.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate unique ideas and bring them to life.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
