Graphic Designer & Content Creator

Melrosia is a start-up lifestyle brand specialising in jewellery and clothing designed to empower women and celebrate heritage. We’re a small but passionate team creating meaningful pieces that empower women and tell real stories and looking for a Graphic Designer & Content Creator who can bring visual ideas to life. Someone who’s not just great at designing social media creatives but also comfortable styling, shooting, and editing content alongside the team. You’ll play a key role in shaping our visual identity across platforms and product launches.

This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll work closely with the founder, marketing team, and ops to plan and execute creative content that is beautiful, brand-aligned, and engaging.

Key Responsibiltiies

• Design and edit

  still + video content

  for social media
• Collaborate on creative concepts and storyboards for campaigns, product launches, and shoots
• Plan and execute product flatlays, reels, and creative shoots (in-house or DIY style)
• Create visual assets for website (banners, landing pages, collection headers)
• Design catalogues and email graphics
• Style and photograph products using natural light and simple setups
• Maintain brand consistency across all visual content
• Occasionally assist with behind-the-scenes shoot content and styling support

Requirements



• 2-3 years of experience working in-house at a small brand or start-up (not agency-based)
• Strong portfolio with examples of 

  social-first content

   (Instagram reels, stories etc)

• Experience creating content specifically for social media is essential

   — you understand what performs, how to adapt content by platform, and how to maintain a brand’s visual voice
• Skilled in both 

  still photography and video editing

   for social media (including reels, flatlays, and stories)
• Proficient in tools like 

  Canva, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)

   or CapCut/InShot
• A good eye for styling, colour, and composition, you can turn a simple shoot setup into scroll-stopping content
• Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a small, hands-on team
• Bonus: Experience in fashion, jewellery, or lifestyle products
