Job Summary: The Graphics Designer at CADD Centre Kasaragod will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing compelling visual content for various marketing and communication initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, proficiency in graphic design software, and the ability to translate marketing objectives into visually appealing and effective designs that resonate with our target audience of students and professionals. Key Responsibilities: Design & Development: Create a wide range of digital and print marketing materials, including social media graphics (posts, stories, reels covers), website banners, digital advertisements, emailer templates, and presentations. Design brochures, flyers, posters, standees, and other print collateral for local promotional activities, events, and campus branding. Develop engaging visuals for course promotions, workshops, seminars, and student success stories. Design certificates, student IDs, and other internal branding elements as needed. Ensure all designs align with CADD Centre's brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity. Content Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the marketing team, admissions counselors, and management to understand design requirements and objectives for various campaigns. Translate marketing concepts and written content into visually appealing graphics. Asset Management: Organize and maintain a library of design assets, templates, and brand elements for easy access and consistency. Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices. Photography & Basic Video (Optional/Supportive): Perform basic photography for events, campus life, and student activities for use in marketing materials. (Optional but a plus) Assist with basic video editing or motion graphics for short social media content if skill permits. Quality Assurance: Review and approve designs for errors before final production or publication. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or a related field. Proven experience (1-3 years preferred) as a Graphics Designer, ideally within an educational institution, advertising agency, or a similar environment. Strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of design work (digital and print). Expert proficiency in industry-standard graphic design software, especially Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Familiarity with other design tools like Canva, Figma, etc., is a plus. Solid understanding of design principles (layout, typography, color theory, image manipulation). Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both visual and verbal. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of local cultural nuances for effective visual communication in Kasaragod/Kerala is an advantage.
