Responsibilities:

• Design and produce visually engaging graphics that align with our journalistic values, enhancing the visual storytelling of our news and feature stories.
• Create compelling YouTube thumbnails that drive views and engagement, aligning with the content's theme and audience expectations.
• Collaborate closely with journalists, editors, and digital strategists to conceptualize and execute designs that complement and elevate our content.
• Manage multiple design projects from concept through completion, ensuring consistent brand identity.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in graphic design and digital media to continually bring fresh, innovative ideas to our platform.

Qualifications:

• Proven graphic design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in digital media, including YouTube thumbnail creation.
• Proficient in design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
• A keen journalistic sense to understand and translate news content into compelling visual formats.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a diverse team.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
