Graphic Design Manager

As an Assistant Manager/Manager - Graphic Design at Indian Institute of Art & Design (IIAD), you will have the opportunity to be part of the Communications & Branding team, contributing to impactful projects and enhancing IIAD's presence in the art and design education landscape. **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for maintaining brand consistency and evolution, designing for social media, managing projects from concept to execution, mentoring junior designers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring attention to detail in designs, creating graphic, motion graphics, and video content, understanding print design, continuous learning, and staying updated with design trends. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Brand Consistency & Evolution:** - Work within existing brand guidelines while identifying opportunities to evolve the brand's visual identity. - Ensure all designs align with IIAD's brand ethos across digital, print, and social media platforms. - **Design for Social Media:** - Create compelling visuals for IIAD's social media channels, reflecting current trends and appealing to the target audience. - Collaborate with the social media team to develop visual content calendars. - **Project Management:** - Lead projects independently from concept to execution, ensuring timely delivery. - Oversee design projects across various mediums including digital ads, promotional campaigns, print, and website graphics. - **Mentoring & Leadership:** - Guide and mentor junior designers, providing constructive feedback. - Review and approve junior designers" work to maintain quality and consistency. - **Collaboration:** - Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop integrated campaign designs. - Brainstorm and contribute to new ideas for design and communication strategies. - **Design Balance & Attention to Detail:** - Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring designs demonstrate excellent balance, typography, and composition. - **Graphic, Motion Graphics & Video:** - Create multimedia content for IIAD's social media channels. - Collaborate with the video production team for larger projects. - **Understanding of Print:** - Design for print, including brochures, posters, and banners. - Ensure designs are print-ready with proper resolution and color management. - **Continuous Learning:** - Stay updated with design trends, tools, and techniques. - Actively seek feedback and learn from peers and industry trends. **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Communication Design, Visual Communication, or related field. - 4-5 years of experience in graphic design with a proven portfolio. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and basic motion design tools. - Strong sense of visual storytelling, typography, and design systems. - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. At IIAD, you will be working from the South Delhi & Gurgaon, Sector 68 location, following a Monday to Friday 09.00 am - 06.00 pm and Saturday 10.00 am - 05.00 pm schedule. You will receive a competitive remuneration of 40-70K/month, negotiable based on your skills and qualifications.
