Graduate Trainee Internal Audit

You will be joining our team as a Graduate Trainee - Internal Audit in Chennai to support our exceptional teams in building great products and contributing to our growth. **Role Overview:** As a Graduate Trainee - Internal Audit, your typical day will involve assisting in conducting internal audits and SOX reviews across various departments. You will be responsible for assessing the effectiveness of controls, compliance, and risk management. Your role will also include supporting the audit team in collecting, analyzing, and documenting audit evidence, preparing working papers, and drafting audit observations. Additionally, you will participate in walkthroughs, process reviews, testing of internal controls, preparing internal audit reports, and presentations for management. You will also be involved in following up on audit findings and ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions, maintaining proper documentation and confidentiality of audit information, and collaborating with different departments to understand business processes and control environments. Any other duties assigned by the Internal Audit Manager or team lead will also be part of your responsibilities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in conducting internal audits/SOX reviews to assess controls, compliance, and risk management. - Support in collecting, analyzing, and documenting audit evidence. - Prepare working papers and draft audit observations. - Participate in walkthroughs, process reviews, and testing of internal controls. - Prepare internal audit reports and presentations. - Follow up on audit findings and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions. - Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality of audit information. - Collaborate with various departments to understand business processes and control environments. - Perform any other duties assigned by the Internal Audit Manager or team lead. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. - Pursuing or completed professional certifications like CA Inter, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MBA (Finance) or CIA (preferred but not mandatory). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good understanding of financial statements and basic accounting principles. - High attention to detail and accuracy. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Strong verbal and written communication skills.,
