Your Opportunity

Role Overview

As a GPT Plugin Developer, you will:

• Design, build, and deploy custom plugins for GPT-4
• Create OpenAPI specs and manifest files that enable safe and structured tool usage
• Integrate external APIs to allow GPT to search, book, retrieve, or execute real-world tasks

What You’ll Do

• Build backend services and APIs that act as tools for GPT plugins
• Write accurate OpenAPI specs and manifest files for plugin registration
• Implement authentication, rate-limiting, and security controls
• Test and refine plugin behavior in the ChatGPT environment
• Support plugin deployment for internal tools or public listing

Technical Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in backend or full stack development
• Proficient in Python, Node.js, or similar backend frameworks
• Strong understanding of OpenAPI specs and API design
• Familiarity with deploying and managing secure web services
• Experience with GPT-4 plugin architecture and plugin developer tools
• Bonus: experience with OAuth, serverless deployment, and observability tools
