Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Gold Loan Officer, located in Chennai. The Gold Loan Officer will be responsible for assessing, approving, and disbursing gold loans, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include evaluating loan applications, performing authenticity checks on pledged gold, maintaining records, and providing excellent customer service to clients enquiring about gold loans.

Qualifications

Experience in Loan Processing and Documentation
Knowledge of gold appraisal and valuing techniques
Customer Service and Communication Skills
Proficiency in local language (Tamil) and basic proficiency in English
Ability to work independently and possess problem-solving skills
Experience in banking or financial services is an advantage
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
