Gold Central Executive - Jewellery Industry

Aakash Jewels is a prominent B2B jewelry manufacturer dedicated to quality and precision. We are looking for a meticulous and reliable Gold Central Executive to join our administrative team at our factory. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of our inventory data.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a trustworthy and meticulous Gold Central Executive to oversee the central inventory of precious metals and components. The primary focus of this role is to maintain 100% accuracy in gold and silver stock, manage the issuance of metal to the casting department, and ensure the availability of jewelry findings. This position requires high integrity, precision in weighing and recording, and the ability to coordinate effectively with the production team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain strict control and accurate records of the company’s gold and silver stock (bullion, granules, and scrap).
• Conduct daily physical stock verification to ensure the system balance matches the physical weight.
• Monitor metal purity standards and ensure safe storage of high-value assets.
• Receive requisitions from the casting/production department and issue the correct weight and purity of gold or silver.
• Verify weights meticulously before issuance and upon return of any scrap or unused metal.
• Maintain a precise log of "Metal Issued" vs. "Casting Output" to monitor process loss and ensure accountability.
• Manage the inventory of jewelry findings (clasps, posts, locks, loops, etc.) and other necessary consumables.
• Monitor stock levels of findings to prevent shortages; coordinate with the procurement team to replenish stock ("get findings") in a timely manner.
• Organize and categorize findings to ensure quick retrieval for the assembly team.
• Update stock registers (manual or digital) in real-time for every transaction.
• Prepare daily or weekly utilization reports for management review.
• Flag any discrepancies in stock or weight immediately.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: 2 years of experience in the jewelry industry, specifically in stock handling or inventory control.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with different karats of gold, silver alloys, and standard jewelry findings.
• Technical Skills: Competence in using precision weighing scales and karat-checking machines.
• Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency in MS Excel or jewelry inventory software (e.g., Logic, Tally) for maintaining stock records.
• Core Traits: High level of integrity and honesty is mandatory. Excellent numerical aptitude and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
