Golang Back End Developer

Golang Backend Developer (Fully Remote)

We are looking for a skilled and self-motivated Golang Backend Developer to join our backend team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the core services that power our applications, with a strong focus on clean, high-performance, and maintainable code.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable

  RESTful APIs

  using Go.
• Write complex and efficient

  SQL queries

  for database integration (we do

  not

  use ORMs).
• Implement server-side logic, security measures, rate limiting, and session management.
• Build services using web frameworks like

  Gin

  .
• Work extensively in a

  Linux

  environment for both development and deployment.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Develop and maintain clear documentation for APIs and system architecture.
• Migrate some legacy services from Python and Node.js to Golang.
• Participate in our

  CI/CD

  pipeline using Git.

Who You Are

• You have at least 2 years of experience developing backend services in

  Golang

  .
• You possess a strong understanding of concurrency in Go (goroutines, channels).
• You are highly proficient with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and writing raw SQL.
• You are comfortable working independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. This is

  extremely important

  for the role.
• You have a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

A public Go project on a platform like GitHub is mandatory for consideration.
