Golang Backend Developer (Fully Remote) We are looking for a skilled and self-motivated Golang Backend Developer to join our backend team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the core services that power our applications, with a strong focus on clean, high-performance, and maintainable code. What You'll Do Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable RESTful APIs using Go. Write complex and efficient SQL queries for database integration (we do not use ORMs). Implement server-side logic, security measures, rate limiting, and session management. Build services using web frameworks like Gin . Work extensively in a Linux environment for both development and deployment. Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality. Develop and maintain clear documentation for APIs and system architecture. Migrate some legacy services from Python and Node.js to Golang. Participate in our CI/CD pipeline using Git. Who You Are You have at least 2 years of experience developing backend services in Golang . You possess a strong understanding of concurrency in Go (goroutines, channels). You are highly proficient with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and writing raw SQL. You are comfortable working independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. This is extremely important for the role. You have a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A public Go project on a platform like GitHub is mandatory for consideration. We evaluate candidates based on their demonstrated ability to build cool and functional projects. We are open to considering candidates with strong open-source contributions or personal projects, even if they lack 2 years of formal corporate experience.
