Job Description

As a part of the Supply chain and operations practice, you will play a crucial role in helping organizations reimagine and transform their supply chains with a focus on creating a positive impact on the business, society, and the planet. In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to innovate, build competitive advantage, and drive improvements in business and societal outcomes in an ever-changing world. Your key responsibilities will revolve around developing and implementing strategies, best practices, and change management programs to enhance the efficiency of the Fulfilment function. You will also be involved in assisting with Logistics and Fulfilment strategies to drive improvements in key performance metrics. Additionally, you will work on charting strategic roadmaps for clients, conducting comprehensive assessments, and building business value cases to help clients achieve their goals. Your role will require you to drive both qualitative and quantitative process assessments to identify performance gaps and enable process improvements. You will collaborate with clients on organizational structure, governance, process reengineering, and solution strategies to drive successful transformations. Furthermore, you will be responsible for designing, architecting, and managing strategic solution-led transformations for clients. In addition to strategy development, you will provide expertise in the implementation and continuous improvement of Logistics strategies, organizations, networks, processes, operations, and technologies. You will guide the project team during the build and test phases and demonstrate a deep understanding of processes and best practices to drive positive outcomes for organizations. Your oversight will extend to areas such as transportation planning, route planning, warehouse layout design, equipment and automations, 3PL service evaluation, and logistics trainings. Moreover, you will be tasked with drafting proposals, setting objectives, and creating action plans for prospective clients. You will also contribute to establishing and expanding strategic business solutions alliances. Your role will involve supporting sales enablement through bid management, proposal authoring, estimations, and client pitches. To excel in this role, you should have experience working on projects related to primary logistics, including strategic transportation sourcing, truck loading efficiency, truck-mix analysis, distribution, warehousing, ocean and air freight, and network optimization. Exposure to tools such as Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru, iLOG, SCS, SAP (TM, eWM, LE), Blue Yonder (TMS, Luminate, WMS), and Oracle (TM) would be advantageous. Additionally, experience with Profit and Loss or Sales responsibilities would be a valuable asset in this role.,
