Role & responsibilities Co-ordinate with oversea suppliers for material readiness & share the PO's with them for material dispatch. Taking quotes from forwarders and negotiate with them for Courier, Air, Sea & LCL shipments. Co-ordination with overseas vendor for material pick up & vessel schedule & flight schedules . Arrangement of Pre & post shipments documentation on regular basis. Looking after Import Pre-Alerts documents received from shippers,forwarders. Keeping track of ETD & ETA of all shipments Co-ordinate with counterpart for shipments status. Co-ordinating with Clearing team for timely clearance of shipments. Co- ordinating with Transporter for vehicle placement on time as per requirement in advance. Taking follow up with freight forswarders, CHA , transporters for shipments bills Check vednors bills as per the quotations & share it with finance team for booking. Reconciliation of vendor outstanding statements with support to finance team To maintain MIS data of all import & export shipments.
