We are seeking a knowledgeable Product Manager to oversee the management of requirements for user tool integration. The perfect applicant will possess a solid foundation in assisting clients with industrial automation solutions and a comprehensive grasp of the difficulties encountered by OEMs and system integrators. You will play a key role in converting client needs into practical product specifications, enhancing usability, and guaranteeing that our tools provide significant benefits in actual implementations.

This position plays a crucial role, bridging product development, user experience, and technological advancement. Your contributions will greatly determine the ways our products are adopted, utilized, and assessed throughout the industry.

The preferred locations for this role are in our Centre of Expertise in China Beijing or Nanjing locations, Bangalore India or Heidelberg Germany. You will have dotted line reporting to our division digital lead

Your role and responsibilities

Oversee the development and execution of the product vision, roadmap, and integration for user and engineering tools, while managing requirements through analysis of customer feedback and market conditions. Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, UX, and field teams to deliver intuitive, high-performance tools that are aligned with customer workflows and underlying hardware capabilities. Ensure continuous improvement in usability and integration efficiency, represent the voice of the customer throughout product decision-making and development, and support go-to-market initiatives as well as internal enablement for software tools

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • A bachelor''s degree in software engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline, along with documented experience in product management for industrial software tools is required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of drives, servos, PLCs, and industrial automation systems, along with experience in commissioning workflows and engineering platforms.
  • Demonstrated background in supporting OEMs and system integrators with automation solutions.
  • Proficient communication, cross-functional leadership, and customer-focused skills, complemented by keen analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
