Global Identity & Compliance Manager

The Identity and Compliance Manager have the authority to define and enforce identity-related standards, lead tool consolidation efforts (e.g. CyberArk, Beyond Trust), and coordinate with IT, HR, and Security teams to implement IAM and compliance controls. The role is empowered to drive changes across identity processes, recommend technical solutions, and escalate risks or non-compliance issues to senior management when needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own and manage the global Identity & Access Management (IAM) framework, with a strong focus on privileged access, Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) lifecycle automation, and scalable identity governance practices.
• • Lead the consolidation and optimization of privileged access tools, aligning and streamlining the use of CyberArk and BeyondTrust across the organization.
• • Design and implement Identity Governance (IGA) capabilities using Microsoft Entra and ServiceNow, including role definitions, access reviews, and approval workflows.
• • Drive integration across fragmented identity processes by working closely with IT, HR, and Security to establish clear ownership and end-to-end accountability.
• • Support the day-to-day management of Microsoft Entra SSO and MFA, onboarding new applications and ensuring secure, user-friendly authentication for global users.
• • Develop and maintain practical identity-related policies, standards, and procedures, tailored to operational realities and regulatory expectations.
• • Support regulatory compliance initiatives (e.g. GDPR, NIS2) by translating legal requirements into actionable identity and access controls and assisting with audits and reporting.
• • Serve as the global point of contact and subject matter expert for identity and compliance topics advising stakeholders, sharing best practices, and driving continuous improvement.
• • Administratively manage IT team members based out of Bangalore office from various functional verticals.

Basic requirements (Education, Level of Experience, Language)

• • Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering (Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field)
• • Minimum 11 to 15 years of experience out of which 5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, with direct involvement in privileged access, IGA, and JML automation initiatives.
• • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Entra, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, and ServiceNow; experience deploying or managing these or similar tools in production environments.
• • Solid understanding of compliance requirements related to GDPR, NIS2, and access governance.
• • Proven ability to work across functions (IT, HR, Security, Legal) and connect fragmented ownership into a cohesive identity framework.
• • Brings common sense and a pragmatic mindset able to balance security, usability, and operational needs.

• Skilled at finding consensus between often conflicting requirements, with a focus on whats realistic and valuable in an industrial setting.

• • Comfortably operating in complex environments where legacy systems, evolving priorities, and crossfunctional dependencies are part of the organizational reality.
• • Excellent communication skills able to translate technical topics for non-technical audiences and vice versa.
• • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• • Willingness to travel occasionally to support global coordination.
• • Relevant certifications like CIPM, CISM, SC-300 (Microsoft Entra), or CIAM are a strong plus.
