GL Accountant- US Shift

About the Role:

Requirements

• Participate in month-end close processes, such as preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
• Perform analytics over financial results to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial statements
• Reconcile cash transactions on a daily basis in Netsuite
• Review daily credit card transactions in Brex to ensure proper GL coding
• Perform Blackline administrative tasks to ensure roles and responsibilities are appropriately assigned to the correct team members
• Investigate reporting discrepancies and communicate issues as they occur in a timely manner
• Prepare supporting documentation for quarterly reviews, annual audit, and SOX compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• Able to apply knowledge of US GAAP, with a general understanding of SOX.
• Self-motivated; dependable with deliverables and deadlines; able to multitask.
• Confidence, good judgment, energy and personality to work in a fast-paced environment.across all levels of management and across functions and geographies.
