Key Responsibilities

• Mapping & Data Management

  : You will assist in creating and maintaining GIS maps and spatial datasets using

  ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online

  . You'll also work with

  GIS databases (SDE)

  to store and manage spatial data.

• Analysis & Collaboration

  : You'll perform basic spatial analysis to support various projects and work with other teams to integrate GIS data into business processes.

• Learning & Automation

  : You'll have the opportunity to learn and use tools like

  FME Desktop/Server

  or other open-source GIS software. There's also a chance to support the automation of GIS workflows using scripting languages like

  Python, JavaScript, SQL, or C#

  .

Required Qualifications

• Experience

  :

  1-3 years of experience

  in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

• Education

  : A Master's in Geoinformatics or a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or a relevant field.

• Technical Skills

  : Basic working knowledge of

  Esri software

  and GIS principles. Some exposure to

  database management

  and spatial data processing is a plus. Experience using GIS in the utility sector is also a bonus.

• Personal Attributes

  : You must be a strong problem-solver with great attention to detail. You should also be willing to learn new tools and techniques and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
