📢 We’re Hiring | GIS Data Digitization Expert

DATAPKT is expanding its operations in data digitisation, mapping, and remote sensing


🔍 Key Responsibilities:

  • Digitisation of GIS layers from

    satellite imagery, drone data, CAD drawings, or scanned maps

  • Preparation and editing of thematic layers such as land use/land cover, hydrology (rivers, canals, drainage), physiography, terrain, utilities, and infrastructure

  • Handling remote sensing–based interpretation and feature extraction

  • Ensuring data accuracy, topology corrections, and spatial alignment

  • Attribute data entry, QA/QC, and integration with project databases

  • Collaboration with GIS and field teams for data validation and final deliverables


🎯 Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 3–8 years of experience

    in

    GIS data digitisation, remote sensing, or mapping projects

  • Proficiency in ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD, or MicroStation

  • Strong understanding of hydrology, terrain mapping, and topographical data interpretation

  • Educational background in Geoinformatics, Geography, Civil, or Earth Sciences

    preferred
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality deliverables
