Role Overview: Carbon Check (India) Private Limited is seeking a GHG Assessor (Carbon Capture Utilisation and Storage) to join their team in Noida, India. As a GHG Assessor, you will be responsible for validating and verifying GHG removal projects, preparing audit reports, managing client relationships, and contributing to project management activities. Key Responsibilities: - Be a part of the team and conduct validation/verification of GHG removal projects. - Prepare validation/verification plans for on-site/remote audits. - Conduct Desk Review of submitted information to verify accuracy and sufficiency of evidence. - Prepare desk review findings report. - Draft Validation/Verification Report (DVR) and Final Validation/Verification Report (FVR). - Manage project timelines and resources effectively. - Build and maintain client relationships. Qualifications Required: - Advanced Degree in Geology, Geochemistry, Geoecology, Soil Chemistry, or related field. - 2-4 years of relevant experience in GHG emission reduction projects. - Knowledge of GHG schemes such as CDM, VERRA, Gold Standard for Global Goals, etc. - Familiarity with CO2 capture and storage technologies. - Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis. - Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Understanding of GIS databases and statistical analysis. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Organizational and time management abilities. - Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
