General Trade (Field Sales)

As a candidate for this position, you should hold a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA/PGDM is preferred but not mandatory. You should have practical experience in establishing and expanding Organic Food General Trade (GT) channels for an emerging or early-stage FMCG brand. Your expertise should encompass a thorough comprehension of traditional retail networks, distributor onboarding, beat planning, and retailer relationship management. Any previous involvement in product launches or collaborations with startups would be advantageous. Your skill set should include strong negotiation and relationship management capabilities, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Being a self-starter who can operate autonomously with minimal supervision is crucial. Additionally, you should possess robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. This role will require extensive travel, so a willingness to do so is essential. A strong network and connections with Distributors & Super Stockiest would be beneficial.
