The General Trade (Field Sales) will drive brand launch and growth in the general trade market by building a strong distributor network, expanding retail presence, and ensuring product visibility. Key responsibilities include developing market strategies, on boarding and managing distributors, achieving sales targets, and executing promotions. The role also involves maintaining stock levels, ensuring timely payments, and gathering market insights. A proactive, target-driven approach and strong relationship management skills are essential for success in this fast-paced startup environment. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA/PGDM preferred but not mandatory. Experience: We are looking for a candidate who has hands-on experience in setting up and scaling Organic Food General Trade (GT) channels for an emerging or early-stage FMCG brand . The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of traditional retail networks, distributor onboarding, beat planning, and retailer relationship management. Prior experience in launching products or working with startups is a plus. Skills Required: Strong negotiation and relationship management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and under minimal supervision. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
