General Manager Operations (Export)

As the individual responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Company's Export Operations, you will play a crucial role in the coordination with Export Consultant and department heads to ensure a smooth export process from start to finish. You will act as a leader driving international business, focusing on the smooth shipment of consignments with zero errors. Developing and executing comprehensive export strategies aligned with Company goals and market trends analysis will be key responsibilities. Your role will involve playing a significant part in setting export market development strategies, establishing financial budgets, and determining the costing of international business in collaboration with the Export Consultant. Leading the export team for all export consignments and fostering strong relationships with key clients and distributors in target markets will be essential for success. Vendor management will also fall under your purview, requiring liaison work with local vendors and suppliers, as well as rate negotiation. Overseeing all export logistics, including shipping documentation, customs clearance, freight forwarding, and export compliance will be critical tasks. Coordination with Production/Packing, Quality, and Store/Dispatch departments is necessary to ensure timely and error-free export shipments. Your role will also involve monitoring export performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring adherence to all export regulations and trade laws, including import/export licenses, renewals, and customs procedures. Strong leadership and team management skills will be essential to effectively lead the export team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Operations.
