Key Requirements:

• Should be a former military officer in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel /Colonel, or equivalent or higher rank, with 10 to 15 years or more distinguished service.
• Strong understanding of defence and aerospace products range, their market potential and service requirement and market dynamics.
• Through Knowledge of iDEX, TDF and DIO process and offset opportunities. Knowledge of armed force indigenization schemes (through DOI/ ADB/ Airforce indigenization organisations).
• Familiarity with procurement processes, regulatory requirements, and industry and MIL standards.
• Knowledge of defence QA process and process for generation of SQRs/ GSQRs/NSQRs.
• Insights into procurement systems of PSUs, DRDO labs, Armed Forces, prime contractors and other government agencies.
• Must have knowledge of complete products range and sub segments of Defence and Aerospace domains.

Job Responsibilities:

• He/she will lead the marketing division within the defence vertical, with key responsibilities including identifying business opportunities, driving participation in bidding processes, and securing contracts.
• The candidate should possess excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to convince potential customers with the company’s product proposals.
• Strong strategic thinking with a results-driven approach.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams to realise the marketing trends.

Education:

• UG: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

PG: Postgraduate in Management preferred.
