Job Summary: The Mount Shivalik Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager of Projects - Civil, specializing in Luxury Residential construction for their project in the hills "The Viceroy Estate". The ideal candidate should have an understanding of mountainside construction and a strong background in civil engineering and team leading, with a proven track record of successfully managing and executing projects within the specified timeframes and budgets. Qualifications/Experience: 1. Bachelors Degree in civil engineering. 2. 15 - 25 years of relevant experience in executing high end luxury residential construction WITH experience and understanding of MOUNTAINSIDE/HILLSIDE construction. 3. Proven experience as a Project Manager or Execution Manager in Commercial and Residential construction projects. 4. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and processes. 5. Excellent leadership and team management skills. 6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. 7. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. 8. Proficient in project management tools. 9. The successful candidate will be posted at the project site. Project Planning and Coordination: 1. Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. 2. Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution. 3. Reporting to senior management on a daily basis regarding deployment of resources at site. Quality Assurance: 1. Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that projects meet or exceed industry standards. 2. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain quality standards. Budget Management: 1. Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints. 2. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project costs. 3. Vendor and Contractor bills to be verified thoroughly and payment recommendation as per agreed terms/BOQ. Team Leadership: 1. Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. 2. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Risk Management: 1. Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. 2. Implement effective risk management procedures to ensure project success. Stakeholder Communication: 1. Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives. 2. Provide regular updates on project progress and address any concerns raised by stakeholders.
