Job Description

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger Accounting

Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities (accruals, provisions, journals, reconciliations).
Post manual and recurring journal entries and review trial balances.
Execute balance sheet reconciliations (cash, prepaid, accruals, intercompany, GR/IR).
Handle intercompany accounting including confirmations, netting, and dispute resolution.
Ensure compliance with IFRS / local GAAP and accounting policies.

Fixed Assets Accounting

Manage end-to-end FA lifecycle: capitalization, transfer, depreciation, retirement.
Review CIP balances and coordinate with project teams.
Support asset verification, impairment checks, and CapEx/OpEx classification.
Participate in process standardization, SOP creation, and system enhancements (ERP, RPA).

Closing & Reporting

Execute month-end closing as per SLA and close calendar.
Prepare financial reports, variance analysis, and support internal/external audits.
Handle inventory valuation postings, GR/IR, and payroll-related postings.

Additional Responsibilities

Prepare half-year and year-end financial statements as per IFRS/local requirements.
Support tax-related postings and provide information for tax audits.
Ensure reconciliation of ledgers / subledgers, AP/AR.
Support system migrations, testing, and key-user activities for GL/FA modules.

Qualifications

B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance with
8+ years
of experience in General Accounting & Fixed Assets.
Working knowledge of
SAP / Navision / JDE / Business Central

Professional certifications preferred:
CA Inter / ICWA Inter / CPA / ACCA
