General Duty Assistant (GDA)

नोकरीचे वर्णन – जनरल ड्यूटी असिस्टंट (GDA) पद जनरल ड्यूटी असिस्टंट (रुग्णालय) मुख्य जबाबदाऱ्या १. रुग्णांची देखभाल रुग्णांना दैनंदिन कामांमध्ये मदत करणे (अंघोळ, स्वच्छता, जेवण, हालचाल, शौचालय). रुग्णांना व्हीलचेअर, ट्रॉली किंवा स्ट्रेचरद्वारे रुग्णालयात हलवणे. रुग्णांच्या स्थिती बदलणे, पलंग तयार करणे आणि स्वच्छता राखणे यामध्ये परिचारिकांना मदत करणे. रुग्णांना दिलासा देणे व त्यांची साधी गरज नर्स/डॉक्टरांना सांगणे. २. वैद्यकीय सहाय्य डॉक्टर/नर्स यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली तापमान, रक्तदाब, नाडी, श्वासोच्छ्वास इ. मोजून नोंद करणे. नर्स/डॉक्टरांना उपचार, ड्रेसिंग किंवा तपासणी दरम्यान सहाय्य करणे. आवश्यकतेनुसार प्रयोगशाळेत नमुने पोहोचवणे. रुग्णालयातील नियमांनुसार जैववैद्यकीय कचरा सुरक्षितपणे हाताळणे व टाकणे. ३. वॉर्ड / युनिटची देखभाल रुग्णांच्या आसपासची जागा, पलंग व उपकरणांची स्वच्छता राखणे. लिनन, साहित्य, वैद्यकीय वस्तू यांचा वेळोवेळी पुरवठा सुनिश्चित करणे. उपकरणे बिघडल्यास किंवा सुविधा-संबंधित अडचण असल्यास वरिष्ठांना कळवणे. ४. आपत्कालीन प्रतिसाद आपत्कालीन परिस्थितीत रुग्ण हलविण्यास मदत करणे. पर्यवेक्षणाखाली प्राथमिक उपचार व मूलभूत जीवनरक्षक कामांमध्ये सहाय्य करणे. आवश्यक अर्हता (Must Requirements) शैक्षणिक पात्रता किमान १० वी उत्तीर्ण; जनरल ड्यूटी असिस्टंटचे प्रमाणपत्र (Healthcare Sector Skill Council – HSSC / NSDC) प्राधान्याने. अनुभव ०–२ वर्षे (प्रशिक्षण प्रमाणपत्र असलेले फ्रेशरही मान्य). कौशल्ये सहानुभूतीपूर्ण स्वभाव, रुग्ण हाताळणी कौशल्ये व शारीरिक क्षमता. रुग्णालयीन स्वच्छता, संसर्ग नियंत्रण व जैववैद्यकीय कचरा हाताळणीचे प्राथमिक ज्ञान. डॉक्टर/नर्स यांच्या सूचनांचे पालन करण्याची क्षमता व शिफ्टमध्ये काम करण्याची तयारी. इतर साध्या स्थानिक भाषेत तसेच साध्या इंग्रजी/हिंदीत संवाद साधण्याचे कौशल्य. जास्त वेळ काम करण्याची व फेरपालट (rotational) शिफ्ट, रात्रीची ड्युटी करण्याची तयारी. Position General Duty Assistant (Hospital)   Key Responsibilities Patient Care Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, feeding, mobility, and toileting. Transfer and shift patients within the hospital using wheelchairs, trolleys, or stretchers. Provide support to nursing staff in patient positioning, bed making, and maintaining hygiene. Comfort patients and communicate basic needs to nursing staff/doctors. Clinical Support Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration) as instructed. Assist nurses and doctors during procedures, dressings, or investigations. Collect and transport specimens to laboratories when required. Handle and dispose of biomedical waste safely as per hospital protocols. Ward/Unit Upkeep Maintain cleanliness of patient surroundings, beds, and equipment. Ensure timely replenishment of supplies like linen, consumables, and medical items. Report equipment malfunction or facility issues to the supervisor. Emergency Response Support in shifting patients during emergencies. Assist in first aid and basic life support activities under supervision.   Must Requirements Qualification: Minimum 10th pass; certification as General Duty Assistant (Healthcare Sector Skill Council – HSSC / NSDC) preferred. Experience: 0–2 years (fresher with training certificate acceptable). Skills: Compassionate, patient-handling skills, and physical fitness. Basic knowledge of hospital hygiene, infection control, and biomedical waste handling. Ability to follow instructions from doctors/nurses and work in shifts. Other: Good communication (basic local language & simple English/Hindi). Willingness to work long/rotational hours, including night shifts.
