Job Description

Job Title: General Duty Assistant (GDA) Immediate joiners are preferred Key Responsibilities:Assist patients in activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, feeding, dressing, toileting, mobility, etc.). Support nurses in routine care and monitoring of patients. Help in shifting/transferring patients within the hospital (to diagnostic areas, wards, or operation theatres). Maintain patient hygiene and comfort by changing linens, cleaning beds, and ensuring the ward area is tidy. Provide assistance in measuring vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure (if trained). Assist during medical procedures under supervision. Maintain cleanliness of medical equipment and ensure proper waste segregation and disposal as per hospital protocols. Ensure availability of patient care materials and report shortages promptly. Support nursing staff in maintaining records and documentation as required. Offer emotional support to patients and families to improve patient satisfaction and comfort.
