Job Description

Job Description: Responsible for providing general accounting services to clients. Activities include cost accounting; journal entries preparation; cash flow; general ledger processing; reconciliations; reporting; and tax support etc. Ensures accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting/procedural standards of accounting records, financial statements and/or financial reports. May generate financial statements and reports for internal and/or external use. A Team Leader (M1) supervises para-professional employees. Responsibilities typically include: Setting day-to-day operational objectives for team. Problems faced may be difficult but typically are not complex. Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders. Managing and overseeing the daily operations of General Accounting and Financial Reporting activities for Hitachi Energy businesses with locations supported from Bangalore Minimum experience of 8 years in General Accounting and / or financial reporting (US GAAP / IFRS) Analyzing financial reports and take proper decisions Co-ordinate with other AP/AR/Tax teams Minimum qualification -CA, CMA or MBA Finance Good communication skills Verbal and Written English Should be able to communicate independently with onshore teams SAP or similar ERP working knowledge is preferred Should be open to working in any shifts based on the countries supported (US / Middle East Shift / Singapore / ANZ shifts)
