Himalya Quartz is a globally recognized brand known for its high-quality semi-precious gemstones and silver jewelry. We specialize in unique stones like Himalayan Quartz, and Ethiopian Opal, crafted in 925 silver with finishes in silver, rose gold, and yellow gold. We are now expanding our team in Japan and are looking for a skilled professional with deep knowledge of gemstones and jewelry. Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Gemstone & Jewelry Specialist to join our Japan office. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for natural stones, strong identification skills, and a background in gemstone sorting, grading, and jewelry design support. Key Responsibilities: Accurately identify, sort, and grade gemstones Work closely with the design team to ensure quality and authenticity Maintain detailed records of stone inventory Provide professional support during product sourcing and exhibitions Liaise with suppliers and customers on gemstone details Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in the gemstone and jewelry industry Deep understanding of natural gemstones, especially quartz varieties Strong sorting and stone recognition skills Excellent attention to detail Age under 40 preferred Must be fluent in English; Japanese language skills are a plus Located in or willing to relocate to Japan Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Opportunity to work with a globally respected brand Supportive and collaborative work environment Career growth opportunities Please submit your resume along with a brief cover letter outlining your gemstone experience and passion for jewelry.
