Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. GeM Portal Management

  • Register and maintain company profile, product listings, and catalogue updates on GeM.
  • Upload CCTV products, specifications, certifications, and pricing in line with GeM requirements.
  • Monitor tenders, bids, and reverse auctions relevant to CCTV and security solutions.
  • Track order status, payment cycles, and resolve portal-related issues.

2. Business Development

  • Identify new business opportunities through GeM tenders and government procurement notices.
  • Generate leads by engaging with government departments, PSUs, and institutions via GeM.
  • Support the sales team in preparing competitive bids and proposals.
  • Develop strategies to maximize visibility and sales of CCTV products on GeM.

3. Sales & Trade Team Support

  • Collaborate with the sales team to align GeM opportunities with overall business targets.
  • Provide insights on government procurement trends and competitor activities.
  • Assist in preparing documentation, quotations, and compliance papers for bids.
  • Train and guide sales staff on GeM processes and updates.

4. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure adherence to government procurement policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain updated certifications (ISO, BIS, OEM authorizations, etc.) required for CCTV products.
  • Handle audit requirements, vendor assessments, and compliance reporting.
  • Liaise with government officials to resolve compliance queries.

5. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare regular MIS reports on GeM activities, tenders participated, and business generated.
  • Analyse success rates of bids and recommend improvements.
  • Track revenue targets achieved through GeM and forecast future opportunities.

6. Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal operations.
  • Familiarity with CCTV, surveillance, and security product domain.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with sales and government officials.
  • Analytical mindset to evaluate tenders, pricing, and competition.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and GeM portal tools.
  • Understanding of government procurement compliance and documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • GEM Portal: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Tender Bidding: 1 year (Preferred)
