As a Supervising Associate within the GDS Data Protection team at EY, you will play a crucial role in supporting all aspects of the GDS Data Protection program. Your responsibilities will include: - Supporting Privacy Impact Assessments, Vendor Due Diligence, Records of Processing Activities, and Data Subject Rights Request - Utilizing your knowledge and industry expertise to enhance processes, support monitoring and reporting requirements, and develop learning materials - Collaborating with key internal and external DP stakeholders to drive the design and implementation of solutions across the business and geographies - Managing and participating in global projects and networks To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and attributes: - 5 years of professional experience in data protection within a risk management or compliance capacity - Understanding of data protection principles and application of controls to protect confidential and personal data - Experience in operational data protection processes such as Privacy Impact Assessment, Records of Processing Activities, Incident Management, and Data Subject Requests - Ability to work in an unstructured and complex environment, think logically, and provide innovative solutions - Proficiency in managing tasks, developing solutions, and delivering specific outcomes - Basic knowledge of project management tools and methodologies - Strong research and communication skills - Capability to handle multiple tasks effectively - Interest in collaborating with a culturally diverse team to design, develop, and deploy programs To qualify for this role, you must have: - University graduate or post-graduate degree - Strong academic background - Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Exposure to client interaction is preferred - Recognized data protection/data privacy qualification (e.g., CIPP/E or similar) Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have: - Ability to adapt to an ambiguous and changing environment - Experience in meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality outputs - Willingness to work flexibly, including participating in calls outside standard office hours EY offers a dynamic and global delivery network where you will collaborate with teams from various locations and sectors.
