GDS GCCO Enablement - Associate - Legal - UK Quality

As an Legal Counsel at EY within the GDS-GCO Enablement team in GDS India, your role involves providing legal support to the UK Quality team and supporting EY's UK business on risk management and service quality matters. Your responsibilities will include: - Acting as the first point of contact for UK business in Quality matters and supporting the Quality team based in the UK in providing advice to EY's partners and people on risk management issues. - Reviewing various legal documents such as engagement agreements, NDAs, MSAs, proposals, and providing risk management advice. - Maintaining an understanding of changes in EY policies, organizational structure, and procedures. - Assisting in creating, facilitating, and delivering training to the UK business. - Collaborating with internal specialist functions including Independence, onshore legal teams, Security, Privacy, and Risk Management. To excel in this role, you should have the following attributes and skills: - A pragmatic problem solver with a drive to continuously build and master key technical, functional, and professional skills. - A self-starter who is motivated and can effectively manage a demanding workload with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. In terms of experience and qualifications, we are looking for candidates who are Law Graduates with 3-5 years of experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal terms and conditions, particularly in Consulting and technology contracts. Experience in UK law is preferred, along with familiarity with IT contracts and GDPR concepts. Additionally, project management experience, understanding of compliance-related concepts, and collaboration skills in multi-vendor IT landscapes are desired.
